This is the first time I see pellets so heavily lubed out of the can. The lube is quite thick and sticky. When the pellet hits the paper, it will deposit a spray of lube around the hole . Is this normal for this make of pellet ?
Sometimes my 25 cal king heavies are the same way. Just wash them so that crud is not in your barrel. I think JSB has gotten so popular they are rushing to keep up with demand.
I could be wrong, but I believe it is the releasing agent that JSB uses so that the pellets fall out of the mold easier. The Monster pellets I have also have more of the waxy feel from the releasing agent than the Jumbo and Jumbo Heavy pellets I have. My gun seems to like the "lubed" pellets.
