The HW30 spring won't last nearly as long as it was designed for by shooting pellets heavier than 8.44 grains. It would be surprising if 10.34's are reaching 500 fps in an HW30

I don’t recall speeds, I think I did chrono a while ago. The gun loves them though. They hit with good authority when pesting. As for the spring, I was not aware of that shortening it’s life. Not a problem for me though, will replace it when it gives out.
