Nice Randall, looking for to your impressions once you get her dialed in. Congratulations on the new Raptor.
That's the exact gun I've got in my cart, except for the color. Can't wait to see some 50 and 100 yrd. groups plus shot count. In a perfect world the gun would also shoot pellets good. If the gun shoots lights out for you and you start posting 100 yard moa groups, I'm going to be out 15 to 16 hundred dollars. Good luck, I think.

Is it accurate?
I find it amazing how different today's "purpose built" pcp airguns are, compared to the past decades of conventional airgun "rifle" clones that we learned to love and collect!
These new "shooting machines" may be the wave of the future, but my old eyes still get grabbed by a beautiful piece of well grained walnut on an old fashion airgun, or bullpup!
That being said...the gun displayed is beautiful in it's own regard! A famous architect once said "Form follows function" and these new gun's shape and construction takes that advice to new limits. There's nothing on that gun that lacks a specific purpose! It makes me wonder what they may look like ten years from now???

Hepotter,
I agree completely. I sure do like the traditional rifle look, the finer the bluing and the more figuring in the wood grain the better. These AR style platforms really don't do much for me, from an aesthetic viewpoint. That being said, I have a Raptor on order and the current top airgun in my possession is a MAC1 USFT that essentially looks like somebody stuffed a bunch of pipes in a golf club bag and called it a gun, or maybe an AR and the stuff rolling around in the bed of a plumbers truck had a baby. The USFT wins, hands down over every other airgun I own, for accuracy, ergonomics, repeatability/consistency, sublime trigger, etc.
Your assessment that they are shooting machines is spot on. I'm just hoping that I'm as pleased with the Raptor as I am with my other "ugly" airgun, the USFT.
Hi! All, Saw a video of another fellow that has just received his Raptor in red and black but his has more red anodized parts on it than this one. Is there an option to have it done the way you want at an added cost, as I see nothing about this on the order form? I guess I'm like Franklink and Hepotter as in if I had my choice I would rather it not look like an AR but if I have no choice I want all the bling I can get as I just can't warm up to "Black Rifles" if you know what I mean!! Thank's in advance, J.L.

Yes, very accurate. Now stacking them at 20yds then drove to a site and shot a five at 50yds with 1/3” groups in no wind this morning. That’s just with 70 pellets through her. So yeah, accurate.
