so who is having success with slugs in JSAR Raptor both 25 & 30 caliber. Both of mine group pellets very well but would like to have ability to also shoot slugs. Thanks

Are they still using the TJ barrels
In 25 cal the TJ 1:22 twist and
In 30 cal the TJ 1:26 twist barrel

A dude on this forum has a .25. I was trying to help him because I have two TJ .25 barrels. But he claimed his Raptor was like a 1:16 or 1:18 TJ. That would mean that JSAR chose to go with the old .25 Auto barrel that TJ offered a while back.

I've got a Raptor .25 I'm pretty sure it's a 1:16 1:22 (per TJ) when I measured it, long barrel 960'sh (going by my short term memory so YMMV) using AEA 30.2's one minute of squirrel at 100 yards consistently. I put a folding stock adapter on it so make adjustments without having to tear the thing apart. Tomorrow I'll send a few downrange and post the numbers.

Ok, as promised. a balmy 78º here in the workers paradise 53% humidity, zero idea what the barometric pressure is so meh. JSAR Raptor running off my tank because the darn thing leaks and I've yet to get it fixed.
10 shots to settle it down, it's a feature.
12 shot AEA 30.2 slugs, 12 shots AEA 33.9, threw out the first one on the pellets it was a smidge fast, always happens. Bottom left of the pic is the slugs top right are the pellets. A nice solid glass table for a bench and a rocky chair, hey it builds character. Appox. 9 seconds between shots. personally, I'm calling it good enough. Oh all I did was move from one square to another, didn't touch the scope. Bottom Left to Top right, 25 yards, my neighbor wouldn't open their windows so I could shoot through their house.
Oh, I'm running just about 1,350 psi, yeah splitting hairs on that little dial.
