Jkhan Noblesse Tuning Recap.

Hi guys this is a question to you guys who know how to tune your pcp's, has i cannot send it to air superiority has i live in the UK, i am trying to get the best out of my rifle that is why i put up a post on how to tune. I had a few replies but know one has really helped me with any explanations on how to tune my rifle correctly on how to tune it to the best of the rifles ability. I hope there is one of you on the forum which can help a new enthusiast. I am a firm believer if you cannot repair or modify something you own yourself dont get into the sport or hobby in the first place. I like computers i didnt know much about them apart from using them but something went wrong with my computer so i researched the problem and fixed it. Since then i have fixed quite a few and also built a couple. I love been able to fix things and modify things myself it bgives you a sense of pride that you have fixed it yourself. I have modded a couple of pcp's now, and this will be my third i am installing a huma reg a depinger and changing the hammer spring i have also modded the barrel port has well has the breach port once i have installed the parts i would like to know if there is anything else i could do to modify the rifle i'e i have heard of polishing the hammer, adjusting the top hat pin in length crowning the barrel and also adjusting the hammer weight. So i would like to know off some of you veteran tuners, what else i could ontop of the new huma reg, depinger and hammer spring exchange to get not only shot to shot consistency, but to get my rifle to the point where i get a 10 shot 1 hole groups at 40 yards or more and i know this can be achieved i just need some advice on hjow to make it so. I hope you guys may help a fellow enthusiast so please leave a comment or pm me thankyou.

Hi airgunmonkey so you are saying everything i outlined doing is the things to be done for my rifle to be tuned fully. As for the time being the items i have done at the moment is the ports hammer spring adjustment depinger and regulator i haven't yet polished the hammer or adjusted the valve length has i am not fully sure on how to do this. If you know of the correct procedure in doing these last two steps i would be most greatfull ie how to polish the hammer correctly and at what length is best for the valve length for the Noblesse. So if you know please pm me or add it too the post thankyou.

Now, in terms of trigger, polishing the parts is not difficult, some triggers assembly comes coated with bluing of some sort, just polish that off to a mirror like and de burr the rough edges then adjustment for your liking, about the hammer spring, I myself haven't seen a aftermarket hammer spring for this rifle yet but I didn't look for one anyway. 10shot 1 hole group, many things comes to play, pellets weight, barrel, power that you use and of course the shooter. It's a combination, to me, I find the best speed of 920/940fps max with jsb's 21gr's or even 18.13gr's to be good at these speed at 40yrds, on the 18's actually lower than that, the balance between pellet weight and speed it's a great factor for accuracy.

After some tuning steps I am also still not fully satisfied whit accuracy of my Noblesse bullpup.

Just know I believe that remained inaccuracy is caused by strong hammer strike or/and wrong barrel. I believe that after swapped to longer barrel I can also reduce hammer and valve weights as well as put lighter spring . Best off all shold be TSS sprig.
If you find out some pictures or videos about Noblesse tuning or spare parts links please share them.

Hi scores I believe I have found out the inaccuracy of mine. Has I have fitted a huma reg but also been trying different head sizes in my pellets I have just tried some JSB Exact Jumbo heavies 18.13 g. 22 5.53 head size from what I was using before from 5.51 and 5.52 and I got a 10 shot group at 55 yards all under a 5 pence I'm hoping it wasn't a one off has didn't have time to carry on has that was after crony testing. But hopefully I have found the perfect head size for my Noblesse. Hope this helps let me know your findings.

My does well with the 18.13g at 30 and 50mts if no wind , with the 21's with light wind does very good too, my was shooting at 1056fps and I tuned down to +/- 970/980fps.
I just milled the back of the stock a bit and backed the hammer screw to adjust the power, I am happy with the stock barrel it seems very accurate to me, still to try the 25g pellets to see when I get hold of them, for shorter distances like 20/25mts even the 15.89's are very good, hole in a hole consistently.
I am glad that you found the right set up for yours, they are an awesome rifles.

I have tried a lot of pellets in mine from Bisley magnum heavies 31g accupells 15.89 H&N Baracudas Polymags JSB Exacts jumbo's all sorts but never tried different head sizes till now. So still abit of trial to do with 5.53 in different pellets to see which is most accurate but if the JSB shoot has accurate has the other day I think they will do me have to see. I'll let you know the results and post a video of an accuracy test on my YouTube channel I'll send you a link once I do one. Hope you get some good results with yours it's all just trial and error which ends up been quite expensive in different pellets and head sizes.

As I have mentioned at GTA link my .22 NXwerks QR bullup has un chocked 450 mm LW  1:14”. I have picked out faster barrel twist rate especially for using extra Heavy JSB pellets such as Beast and Monster. Also it was shooting really this extra heavy pellets enough accurate at full power but unfortunately only at short distances. At longer distances 55+ they start spiralling.
After power reducing I use JSB Jumbo Heavy 5,52 but as you may see at GTA link the accuracy at 76 yard is not pretty good probably via too fast twist rate for standard shaped pellets.

At short distances I am using only .177 guns .
I need to tune Noblesse bullpup .22 for using at longer distances 70+ only

Did you check JSB Heavy 5,53 pellets also at long distances ?

Hi skorec yes i have found out the the 5.53 fit hell of alot better in my barrel has now they are leaving the barrel with scoring from the rifling which you want for accuracy the pellet i am testing at the moment in that size have been the JSB Exact Jumbo Heavies 18.13 grain but looked all over the websites to find the correct BC and dimensions of the pellet and the sites especially CZ dont have those listed in .22 so will have to do a BC Drop of my own from my zero then out to 60 yards and measure the drop to get my BC. But the group i shot with those 5.53 the other day i shot a 10 shot group at 50 yards all under a 5 pence piece that was using my hawke airmax 30sf 3x12x50 ir on mag x3 has my hold over was only 1/2 mildot i was now amazed with the accuracy i new it wasn't the rifle. Just finding the correct head size and decent pellet brand. I am going to see if i can repeat those results some time in the week i hope it turns out the same. The barrel twist rate of the Noblesse is 1.21 also, that is if you dont know, i hope this helps has im trying to setup strelock and that needs that info, also setting up chairgun once i have all the info i need. Anyway hope this helps let me know how you get on with yours ok my friend.
