Jared shooting a wood-stock Brocock Bantam Sniper HR at 75 yard Benchrest today?

Looks like our good friend Jared (of AoA) was shooting a Brocock Bantam Sniper HR (Huma regulator) with a wood stock at 75 yd Extreme Benchrest today?



Is that correct? Or, a different Brocock model?

Massive moderator on there, as well. Looks like it may be a DonnyFL Emperor, perhaps?

It's definitely a sniper and that looks to be a sumo. Hangs off the rifle about the same length as mine, but it's hard to tell with the angled view.

I’m pretty sure that is his dipped synthetic stock. The are pics of it on instagram, it has a dark red snakeskin pattern. From the angle and glare it looks to be wood. I hope he does really well with it. I had a .25 Sniper but sold it due to its length for the truck but it was awesome.

OK thanks Tyler... I was surprised by the look of it because I hadn't heard that a wood stock was available for the Sniper - and I didn't know that Jared had a dipped polymer stock. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, I too hope that he does well with the Bantam Sniper HR. The gun is a really nice option, so easy to tune, very accurate, well-regulated Huma for high and consistent shot count, nicely balanced weight/size, Daystate/Brocock 3-year warranty. There is a lot to love about this rifle!



Do you know what caliber Jared's Sniper is chambered in?

“The short straw”? I don’t think so. The Sniper HR can be every bit as accurate as the Red Wolf. I have both. Wouldn’t want to give one up for the other. They’re both great guns.

in the top pic the moderator has flats that almost looks fluted on it, and seems to be a bigger diameter.

Lots of the new DonjyFl moderators have flats on the sides now. Could be either one depending on length. The Bantams are quiet to begin with, adding that large of an LDC must make it almost silent.

Jared's looks a lot fatter (and longer) than my Shogun (1.66" diameter x 8" long) does. That's why I think it's an Emperor (they're 2" diameter by 10" long.).

Shogun makes my Sniper HR pretty quiet, so that Emperor must be really quiet.

Perhaps Jared has close-in neighbors by his house, thus the Emperor moderator on his Sniper HR? It does seem a little extreme in size, compared to the size of the rifle, but perhaps Jared's Sniper is a .25 cal, which would be louder than .177 or .22, and would benefit from a large moderator? That's why I was asking if anyone knows what caliber his Sniper is.

Not sure if it is the same one but on Instagram he posted a picture shooting one that he said was .22. From the look of the pellets they are probably the redesigned heavies or slugs. Just what I gather, I’m sure there will be results stating what guns were used.

I love the way the Brocock Bantam looks, just my opinion of course.

I took my Emperor from my .30 and compared it to the pic and to me his does look the same and that’s a awesome looking Sniper.

Well, that's a pleasant and useful contribution to make to this thread! Fortunately, I'm sure that no-one would dream of giving you one! Haha!

I am looking at it and really enjoying it too. They did a good job with this design.

It's a design that many are really liking and buying; apparently among AoA's best selling guns And now, with Claudio's big win using his Bantam Sniper HR .22, I'm sure that sales will take a nice jump from that as well. Good for Brocock/Daystate. Good for air gun fans!
