James E. House ?

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this, if not (Moderator) please move it to where it should go.

I just read a comment on another blog that James E House passed away. He was the author of American Airguns and C02 airguns, and a few rimfire books. I had not heard that and know nothing else about it. His American Airguns book was great, all about Multi Pumpers and lots of data showing that they were a lot more effective than you would have imagined. I was always hoping he was going to put out a second edition with current rifles. Has anyone else heard this?

Thanks,

Jim.

Yes, besides American Airguns and CO2 Airguns, he did 2 editions of the Rimfire handbook, And a couple on modifying the Ruger 1022 into target rifles. I think I have 5 or 6 books that he wrote. He also used to write articles in Airgun Hobbyist magazine. I think the one I flip thru the most is the American Airguns, but I am planning on adding a target barrel and trigger to a Ruger 1022, so I am starting to look thru that one also.
