Finally got a measurement tool.
Had been just guessing.
I was not too many feet off🫨
So I set up targets at 90ft-first spinner, 50y-zero with cast iron pan, 180ft- spinner #2, 270ft-pizza pan/275 feet-old center cap.(100yards=91.44 meters=300feet)
So I have about 275~ feet to work with for now....I'm going to have to adjust to make it 100 yards
Bc that makes my record only 91.667 yards...but very windy
Did lots of testing but nice and slow bc the wind was insane but I WANTED to fight it for today's testing!
Got zero in at 50 and then tested.
Testing showed a pellet vs slug in wind.
Benjamin 10.5 gr HPs
Vs.
Zan 10gr Slug
Mainly in the Lothar but I got the snowpeak doaled in on the side; the laser set for anything under 50 yards that gets painted; is dedZ
Pellets were fine up to 30 yards in this wind
After that it was a holdover and windage game.
Switched to slugs after I figured out where the pellets were landing.
Less than half the hold over and about a quarter of the hold I was using with pellets!
Cast iron pan at 50 took the hits like a champ; left some marks but no real damage.
Got 18 of 20 on pizza pan.
Got 3 in the center cap(one was a hip shot with the laser from 30feet)
