It's correct that this is NOT a 457 mold yes?

A seller stated to me that this may be 457 because of the bottom numbers. Just want to confirm that it is not a 457 mold an indeed a 45 cal.

I found the info on the mold in question so I assume this will not work on an S45. States the driving band is .467

That mold is reversed tapered for going in the barrel of a muzzle loading rifle. Definitely not what you are looking for.

I saw that when I looked at the band sizes. Good to know. I guess if I ran them through a sizer that would work? It would size the .462 & .467 rings down correct? Not a huge deal if I don't purchase this mold. I just thought I'd try out casting my own slugs for fun.

There are other molds available that are closer to the size you need. Are you limited by length in your magazine?
