It's chipper time!

Spring is coming to MN finally and the chippers are out in full force.

Took about 30 min of waiting this one out and got the sucker. Kept running between my shed and my camper, probably up to no good for either of those things.

The unfortunate thing for this little chipper was I just put my .30/600mm in the impact. Another unfortunate thing was I accidentally deleted the video from this shot!! 😭

Excellent shot! De-brained and severed the spine...now that's a DRT shot! Nice pic.
Thank you for noticing, that's why I was wanting to share the video. Just dropped like a rock and didn't move. Spine and the brain, couldn't have asked for it to be a much of a cleaner take down.

I do quite a bit of pest control around my property but it's not like I want the pesties to suffer. Clean and efficient is my end-goal.

Your welcome! I've only had a few rats taken that didn't move after being hit.....one was a perfect heart shot and the others involved a brain shot combined with a severed spine that was str8 on or like yours, yours is definitely the toughest shot to pull off by far, but the most humane in our eyes because of no movement! When I saw the photo I knew it was lights out! Excellent shot again!

I like using my old pump Daisy on those guys. They are so fragile it doesn't take much to kill them. Also I'm less likely to damage stuff in my attempt at hitting them on the run. They do make for good moving target practice.
Just completed this little slinger setup 🤣🤪🤙
