It’s been too long since a fresh kill has been posted, last evening 🐿

I had a lot of wiffs yesterday. I missed a red squirrel at 15 yards. I missed a chipmunk at 10 yards, Though I do think I caught up with him later in the day.

This guy was about 30 yards off hand. I had my longest offhand shot earlier in the day with my FWB 124 at 44 lasered yards.

Penny retrieves the chipmunks if they’re retrievable, that was a prickers she got all over her face.

The rifle was originally a Sheridan blue streak C02 rifle. Years ago it was converted by the previous owner to be a PCP. The stock was handmade custom.

It shoots 20 caliber crossman with incredible accuracy and power. Here it is next to an original unmodified blue streak.

That looks like a ground squirrel we have in central Oregon. If the stripes stop at neck it's a ground squirrel. If the stripes continue on top of head it's a chipmunk.
