...since I went out and reversed the impact surface of my 75 yd. aluminum plate target. Must be at least 2 tins worth of hits on this 5" x 6" .125 thick 6061 plate. Still rings loud even after thousands of "hammer" forging hits from the HW80 .22. Just replaced it with a same size new one.

That's from your HW80 at 75 yd? Damn. I pest at shorter ranges but it so happens that my HW80 .22 shoot the Predator GTO at ideal speed for that pellet.

Yeah, it hits hard that far out. I pounded the plate flat again with a rubber mallet. I christened the new plate last evening in still conditions. Typical flattened pellets at that distance.
