IT'S A BOY!! IT'S A BOY!!!! I'LL NAME HIM.....THOMAS...

Nation,

Just picked up my new son today.......I'm REALLY impressed the artwork and craftsmanship that Mr. Mike Nitsch has created with my latest addition to my family. Ultra quiet, have to put on a few more attachments and accessories, plop a scope on it, and it's ready to go. One hole 25 shot groups at 25 yards..... pretty impressed. Now I have to wait (maybe?) a bit for the weather to cooperate here in the Northeast for me to REALLY put it through it's paces. Special thanks to Scott Allen, who steered me in this direction, and Mike for creating a masterpiece.

Joe,

I'm going to put a Kahles 10-50×56 FT that I got from Brian Van Liew. It has better snap in and out of focus, than my original one that I have on the TM 1000. Putting a Rowan Engineering riser on it, with an older style Anchutz butt hook. Might even stick a large weight on the rail, I'll have to see. It does balance well as is, but I like weaponry to be on the heavy side. You'll find me at the range when the weather gets over 50.

Dave, others,

Thanks, it is probably the best balanced and ergonomically designed rig that I've held, I can hold it as is offhand, and it is rock solid. Add said accessories to it, it'll be even better.

Mike had this gun pretty much finished back in December, but being that I was in no rush, he wanted to update it with some of his more recent improvements upon the platform. One of the things that he did, was solidly bolt the regulator in place, rather than just have air pressure hold it in place like most do. The other is he installed an updated, more efficient valve. The final, and most noticeable, is the depth adjustable pellet seating probe, that will place the pellet at exactly the same place every time. This will prevent a pellet from not being pushed all the way in with fingers, and possibly damaging the skirt, when the breech assembly is closed.

When I get all accessories mounted, I'll do some preliminary sighting in at 10 meters, and figure out all my distances (within reason) based on my other Kahles scope mounted on my TM1000.
