The FX hard case is nice, but I'm done screwing the mod on every time I take the gun out of the case. I really like the cutout in the FX case, so a little 3M Super 77, and the Impact is in a new home. Plenty of room for the KLS-2, ARCA rail, and Ronin coming soon. 
It was inevitable.

Yeah, it's a beast of a case though. Browning 5115 Travel Vault. You can drive a truck over it, or that's what they told me when I bought it 25 years ago. It has wheels on it, still looking for the trailer hitch.

What length barrel does your Impact have? And what's the rough overall length of the gun?
I went with the 600mm bbl, but eventually want to go with a 700mm bbl [also suppressed]
The first thing I was a bit irritated with when I put my new adjustable buttpad on was..
it would no longer allow the rifle to fit in the OEM case. *Face Palm*
I need to do some customized foam-cutting/plucking, and obviously need a wider case..
Just not sure how wide. And don't want to go 'too wide' if I can help it.
2 cases I like so far: Harbor Freight Apache double rifle case, and Plano All Weather Case.
The Apache comes in one size.. BIG, and the Plano versions have a few optional sizes..

It's a .25/700 barrel. I think it's 38" long right now, but will gain 2-3" with the Ronin and KLS-2. The case is a Pelican, I'm pretty sure.
