It only takes 2 people...

No kidding. It isn’t because of a moving target reticle is it ? Guessing more to the story as that sounds utterly gimmicky to me. The last kind of sight you want for moving targets is a scope.

Except when the scope is designed specifically for that task!

It is because of the reticle, it's also a top of the line manufacturer. Not to mention those scopes have limited market. It's also an older out of production one, so if someone wants that exact model, they'll pay up for it. New, they are thousands, and many times are made to order.

I have one on my running boar as well. The tubes are an odd size and need specific mounts for them.

That gun in the above ad was "cheap" to free if someone is looking for that exact scope.

I got my B Nickel RB scope for under $200 🤷‍♂️ and it uses standard 1 in mounts

Most of them use a 26mm ring, not a standard 1inch unless the tube is dented. I've never seen a Nickles that uses a true 1 inch ring. Granted, I haven't seen a lot of them, but a few had come through my Father's shop.

You also know that scope was sold well under its true value. But if it's only worth 200, I'll give you 3x your money... unless it's dented from 1inch rings (25.4mm)

Tube is not dented and as can be seen 1 inch mounts are fine. That is the point of searching for things, find a good deal. I never mentioned I didn't know it was a good deal but no one else did so should I have passed it by? Offers to buy items are not allowed in this section, use the classifieds! Since my scope is NOT dented I'll include the mounts but I'll be on top of things value wise and charge many, many times more than what I paid since you've enlightened me to the value if I ever decide to sell. 🥱

Interesting if it's a true 1inch mount. I did zoom in on your pic and it doesn't look like the rings are fully seated, hard to say... but it's a rare one if that's actually true (odd ball US market produced one maybe?). 26mm for RB and their large tubes are 30mm.

I would love to see a better picture of it in those rings if possible.
