It Might be Time to Reconsider

It just goes to show you no matter how much money you spend you can have problems and I would rather have problems on a $500 air rifle than a $2000 air rifle. And I’ve seen some of the cheaper air rifles get many years out of them. It’s like rolling the dice.

Very sensible, IMO.

Re bullpups, people do seem to be liking the Benjamin Akela, and it's not too expensive. I've only ever held the one I own, but from that one I can say that they are SO comfortable to hold.

Also, I used to think that cocking them from the rear would be some level of awful. It's not ideal, and it is a little weird, but you get used to it. And it's really not that big a deal.

I love simplicity, durability and consistency like My RAW’s and soon AAA, and Well Thomas which there is no equal! I will always shoot 25m br. But to tell you the truth I’ve been very seriously thinking of buying a Rimfire For everything else, NRL-PRS, also plinking and hunting? The new Rimfire guns like VUDOO are unbelievably accurate, durable and really not anymore expensive than a daystate RedWolf or Fx impact, this without the expense of a compressor and related equipment, but let me back up and say I have the property and live 3 miles from a range that’s starting informal prs matches. “Michael’s post’s really get my attention” Just thinking out loud I guess, trying to justify why I need to spend more money!
