It can wait till another day... I am glad I checked

I woke up early today and headed to the shop to fill my SCBA tank and 3 of my guns with my new YH air pressor. The drip-drip-drip sound from the eaves really caught my ear, as we are normally in the low teens or twenties for humidity. The smart thermostat in the hallway showed we are at 74% relative humidity today. I would have had a lot of moisture caught in my water trap if I had tried to fill my tanks today. I'm not going to shoot today - so the pump and air tanks can have the day off too.

Shoot/em good!

I am usually between 55 and 65% in the basement and with the purging every five minutes, changing out the YH filter every twenty and the extra gold filter in use. I saw no evidence of moisture in my tank when I changed out the valve in it a better than a year back. But humidity does make a difference for sure. Still if you are set up to catch it you are in good shape.

In your case I would likely do the same and wait a day for the humidity to drop closer to normal. You are lucky not to have to worry much about it usually.
