just went through deciding on which of those three to get.

AF Texan, light weight and plenty of power

pile driver I didn’t care for the weight

hammer, I didn’t care for the negative reviews,4500 psi fill and after putting hands on one I didn’t like it as much as the Texan.

FYI-Airguns of AZ has both the carbon fiber and aluminum full length Texans in stock as well as the hammer.

Above, John Bowman's .338 Scandalous.

I have him making me a .257 SS Lilja barreled one.

just my 2 cents for what its worth. I personally did not care for the trigger on the Texans, although I own one in 357 and its a solid performer. There are some aftermarket trigger setups apparently, but I just learned to deal with it. Many people love the Texans for hunting here in Texas, imagine that, and I caught some flak bc I bought a Piledriver, but it shoots true, reliable so far, and is comfortable for my shooting style and purpose of yeetin’ hogs, yotes, javelina and nutria. It is heavier, and there is the plastic to wrap your head around, but the adjustability of the trigger, cheek and buttpad were key points for me. I also like the pic mounts around the bottle for IR torch and a tri/bipod. I use a heavy ass ATN scope, but that added weight surprisingly makes it more balanced feeling and more comfortable to me than my Texan with the same scope. On the downside, Hatsan is not known for service, but when I contacted them they were quick to respond and answered my questions completely. Hope that helps.
