Is this the real yong heng or a clone?

There are many clones and I hear they are not as good as the original yong heng. I got my compressor off Ebay and just want to know is this the real yong heng or a clone? Cause I do not see any writing on the side. People said the real yong heng have it written on the side. I look on youtube and all the yong heng have the white text on the side. Mine doesnt so just wondering do some come without the text or it's a clone?

It's a clone if it doesn't have the name printed on it. That doesn't mean much as several factories share parts in China. The bigger issue that separates these is the high pressure piston design. A real YH or a Tuxing will have 3 or 4 high pressure rings in the middle of the piston shaft. Those are the good ones. A Vevor has a single parachute seal instead of rings and those seem to be the bad or high wear models. The older Tuxing had a large, gold water jacket on the upper cylinder (not yours), but the newer ones might be YH style like yours (preferred). Internally the big, low pressure piston is thicker on the 2019 model YH. I don't know how to tell these apart though. Others will chime in soon with better info.

You can tell by the components and the plumbing. There are no true Yong Heng clones, true meaning exact copies. There are pumps that are similar in construction like the Vevor, Tuxing, Davv and several other branded or unbranded devices. To my knowledge, there are none that look exactly the same but use different internals. The Yong Hengs, and there are four slightly different specked versions, can have a brand printed on the side or not. If you buy enough of them they will print whatever you want on the side. The example in the above photo is unmistakenly a YH and any YH spare part will fit it, not so with the ones that some people incorrectly call clones.

Everythings are identical to my Yong Heng ( which has got the brandname printed on the case ) down to the very details such as the use of double sealing washers at this location. None of the "clones" I have seen are like that.
