Is this level of Accuracy Okay for hunting?

@RM.510bigbore What’s the approximate diameter of the target you drew?
Yeah, I'm curious how close that target analysis software was to actual.

@RM.510bigbore, what's the distance from those farthest two in the 15-16 shot group that I ran the analysis on?

It's all based on a known value in the image, in this case, the 0.217 diameter of the slugs shown. If I'm only slightly off in marking the cross section of the photo of the slugs....the downstream calculations for overall group size are also off.

I'd rather sort barrels than projectiles.

An anecdotal example....
My hardest barrel hunt was for one that would shoot the .22 Monster RDs, specifically for high power/long range field target that requires pellets.

Finally found one, after something like 5 or 6 different barrels.
That would get extremely expensive if you are buying those barrels.

Sure can be. The pursuit of accuracy usually is.

I much prefer spending my airgun time pulling the trigger and watching my projectiles go where I want them to.

Sorting pellets ranks down there with root canals and doing my taxes. In fact, I'd rather do either of those than sort pellets.

If I can't get a barrel to shoot what I want it to shoot, the way I want it to shoot ....new barrel. Sorting pellets isn't even an option or something I'm willing to entertain.

So, the more money you spend the better you shoot????

That is often the case.

If you're involved in any sort of competitive airgunning, yes. Quite obvious when you walk down the firing line at any benchrest competition. Casually keep track of the gun/scope somebody's running in any flavor of field target and they're likely to have "better" at the next match you see them at.

Clearer scope, new pellets with higher BCs, better barrel, improved bipod, new gun with capacity for higher fpe, etc. It goes on and on.
