Is it common practice for Pyramyd Air to ship your order without the decency of providing a tracking number?

I've never once had a PA order ship without a tracking number sent to my email. Pretty sure its mostly automated by their system like most companies. Maybe I'm just lucky though.
Edit: It may be worth checking your "spam" and "promotions" folders if you're using Gmail. I have a lot of emails get automatically put into my Promotions tab if the Google algorithm thinks they're ads

I've NEVER had an order that DID have a tracking number! If the order comes by UPS, the UPS app tells me and I get a text from UPS. Never from PA.

Thought they shipped FedEx but had to check my email and I was wrong. I do get two confirmations though. One from UPS and one from Pyramydair including tracking numbers. Something must be screwy with their system

You may first get an order confirmation email, followed by a shipping notification with a tracking number in a subsequent email.

but if you go to pyramyds site and click on your past orders,
id bet all of them show a tracking number.

I don't think that was the point in the original post. I have UPS app and that takes care of it. The original post said no follow up email, which I agree with.

Dumb question but worth asking just in case. Do you guys have an account setup or do you just do the "checkout as guest" option?

I've ordered from PA and had tracking numbers. I believe I would just go to PA sign in and track package.

Update: I finally received an email with a tracking number. Order placed Feb 18th. Shipped on 20th. Today is the 22nd. It'll be here tomorrow....

You're correct, they do. I don't buy many pellets from them any more. Since this Val guy took over they are pricing themselves out of the ball park on most items. Just my opinion

Probably a little patience is virtue. Probably didn’t provide tracking as it hadn’t shipped yet. I find that much more annoying when you get the number and it sits in the “label created” state for a couple days. PA gets flak on here but I’ve had nothing but great fast service from them.
