Is this a taipan?

it’s on their website under the Taipan Airguns section. Cheaper than a vet, and side lever cocking up front. Hmmmm.

There's been several posts about this particular model in the past. Most believe that it is either a sister company to Taipan or Taipan itself that makes the Royal Thunder.

I did a search and only found 1 post on it. Only one member seemed to own one, and no real info on it

There have been more - I can't recall exactly when - but a few threads. most of them were more curiosity than anything else. No one knows anything about them.

The website is a lot like the taipan website. Probably great rifles, should get one before they get to pricey

They've been available for a long time like 2 years?? Derrick Wall had one and immediately sent it back. Nothing like Taipan quality. Trigger wasn't good and a few other things.

They are sold under the Taipan name at Talon Tunes. Maybe they are to Taipan as Blue Point is to Snap-On

I have nothing concrete to offer about whether or not this is a Taipan. 

I did follow the links and the website seems similar to Taipan's.

The gun design itself is quite different though, as are the magazines, fill probes etc. A guy would think they'd have tried to reuse parts they were already set up to make, magazines for example, or the trigger components (mention made above about how the trigger isn't as good). 

If it is a Taipan, well then, all those that are always calling for a forward cocking Taipan can get in line for a ROYAL THUNDER!!! (kinda cheesy name)
