Is there a difference between the Marauder field and target gens?

I see that there are some models of the Benjamin Marauder Field and Target with an adjustable black cheek rest but some have an adjustable wood cheek rest.
Are these different Gens? And does that matter when it comes down to accuracy and barrel quality? looking at the .22 models.

In @2022 a nicer stock was offered over the Birch & plastic comb standard F&T
Action mechanically of the F&T model best i know is not any different.

Oh damn so many mixed reviews on these rifles. So the F&T is not a good place to start for the money?

It is a regulator position and lack of much plenum volume that greatly effects the F&T from having a broad tuning range.
