Is there a .177 pellet that is easier to "handle" and load in a clip? They are

so small. I don't want to go to .22 so any advice would help. Is there one(s) that are wider, longer? Are wadcutters harder to "hold" versus domed, hollow point? Any guidance would help.

Also, never shot a bolt action, which appears the way I have to go for .22, CO2, repeater. My powder burners are slide action and lever. Seems most larger caliber rifles are those. Any advice.

Thanks

The easiest time I have had loading .177's has come down to magazines. The Cricket and HW100 (I'm sure there are others as well) have an open round magazine that you can simply dump a bunch of pellets onto and jiggle it a bit. They will naturally fall in dome first. You just flip it over to drop the rest back into the tin and you are good for another 10 plus shots. No fiddling whatsoever.
