Is the troy tune worth the money?

I don't think that there is anything wrong with upgrading or improving a cheaper PcP. I'll use myself as an example. My first PcP was a gen 1 Mrod. I have put more into the thing then it is worth with all the aftermarket upgrades. Lets not forget the time invested as well. It's still not going to make it worth the price of a more expensive brand. However it no doubt shoots just as good as many much more expensive PcPs out there. Still though, Its a Mrod and it will always be just that. Good thing is that it is very easy to work on and parts are to easy to come by. This being the reason why I could not sell it. Far to much invested in it. Besides it was my first PcP so there is some sentimental value to it I guess. So I say go for it and dump some money into the puncher to make it a better shooting PcP.

Well said .This is also my first pcp .and at 25 yards you could probably start a compelling argument, that say my breaker could keep pace with an impact or wildcat .

Take a look a the professional shooters out there. They do more than hold a 3 grand setup down range and wail on a trigger .The time they put into all the other variable aspects of shooting. Knowing your optics, hold over, inspection of each pellet, conscious breathing techniques etc .Is more valuable than the rifle itself .Its nothing more than a paper weight when not in the hands of a marksman...but I still one day will get my hands on a crown or my dream rifle the red wolf
