Is the Mythical Marauder Field and Target still shelved? Just did a quick search of the Crosman site for a Marauder in .25, and this showed up - (Could just be a bad link, but one can always hope):

Since Crosman has a new owner possibly the project has been "rebooted" or was just on hold till the ownership change was completed!

Maybe that's what it was about..A no go till they figure out the sale...I was kinda bummed when I read it wasn't going to be released at this time,never thought about the sale.

Let us remember, the Field really isn't regulated except at low power. That is not the case with a true regulated gun. Perhaps Crosman-Benjamin decided to go the full distance. Let's hope so.

Here's another thought.

The Marauder, Discovery, and others from Crosman-Benjamin are no doubt the most modified models on the market. This is borne out in part, at the vast number of after-market parts for the whole line. If you're frugal, you can mod a Benjamin Marauder into a regulated and anti-bounced hammer, and still spend less than a G-note. Factory parts are also plentiful. Perhaps they didn't want to kill the after-marketers who are their biggest supporters. But who knows?
