Is the M3 bottle compatible with a Mk2?

I've tried to find the answer to this question in the forum without luck. I recently installed a 700 cc tank on my M3 and was wondering if I could use the original M3 tank in my Mk2? I know it wont work in reverse, but I would like to use the M3 tank on the Mk2 if possible since it has a little more capacity.

Yes, you can use the M3 bottle on the MK2. It will werq just fine.

That is exactly what I did with my M3 580cc when I put a 700cc on it awhile back.
