Is it my imagination or was I just high?

Not too sure if this one will work:

The 1077's tube ID and OD should be the same as the 22xx's, as they do accommodate 12g powerlets.

22xx internal tube threads are 13/16 x 28.

1077's: ?

I'd surmise they're the same, I dunno.
Yes but it needs to be straight out from gun to avoid hitting the trigger guard or other accys below gun.

I have been trying to find a adapter that I thought Archer airguns use to sell when he was in business. I have had no luck anywhere. It lets you screw an 88 gram Co2 bottle to a QB78 and also one that allows the same thing for a Crosman 2240.
I believe you could also get on with a on/off valve. Anyone know where such a animal is holed up?

Hi Tim,

To clarify, you are not talking about a QB79 that uses a co2 bottle or a 2240 modified with a tank block to take a Co2 bottle? As far as I know, the tank block was required.

The only thing I can come up with is from Alliance Hobby that used the existing threads of a QB78, but it was not for 88g carts......

Yeah, this MAP adapter came into my mind, but it’s got a lot of overhang, so an 88g C02 capsule would look somewhat incongruous.

A gent in the GTA, Gippeto, sells blocks that are not too long in the chin.

I’ve done business with him, and I’m very satisfied.

He does superb machining, but the items I got from him are all AR tube adapters for the 22xx and 13xx tubes.

He is in Canada, btw.

Ok here is what I need kind of. This is for a 2250 that uses 88 gram tanks. This one allows the use of paint ball tanks instead of the 88 gram thanks. So move around to the front of a 2240. The small male thread needs to be in the female position. The small male thread need to be the size of the threads inside the 2240's tube. I want one like this so I can take it of without have to take the gun apart.

It seems straight adapters are no longer readily available.

If I really want one, I'd have one fashioned in hard stainless steel to better pierce the cartridge.

Just take a PROD/Disco fill port for the machinist to copy, particularly the groove for the 113 (PROD's) or 016 (Disco's) O-ring.

Just curious, is your breech high enough for such project?

So I have realized I have to have a drop down to achieve what I want to do. I have an excess of 88 gram Co2 tanks and no other gun that used them.
Pictured here is the gun they will be used on. Not crazy about pinning the drop down to the gun, but if I have to I will. The silver adapter in the picture is for a paintball thank to the back end of a Crosman 2250, the reverse of what I want to do on the front end of a 2240. I remember you could buy a adapter that would allow you to screw an 88 gram into a paint ball gun. So two options buy a drop down and then find the 88 gram to paintball adapter or just find the 88 gram to paintball adapter and use it to fill a couple of bulk fill Co2 guns I have.
Anyone have one of the 88 gram to paintball adapter's they would part with?
