You are correct, referring back to my OP. I must have been high. I do not know why I thought the were external.I don't believe I've seen a 22xx tube with external threads.
Are they custom?

Yes but it needs to be straight out from gun to avoid hitting the trigger guard or other accys below gun.Not too sure if this one will work:

The 1077's tube ID and OD should be the same as the 22xx's, as they do accommodate 12g powerlets.
22xx internal tube threads are 13/16 x 28.
1077's: ?
I'd surmise they're the same, I dunno.
Hi Tim,I have been trying to find a adapter that I thought Archer airguns use to sell when he was in business. I have had no luck anywhere. It lets you screw an 88 gram Co2 bottle to a QB78 and also one that allows the same thing for a Crosman 2240.
I believe you could also get on with a on/off valve. Anyone know where such a animal is holed up?
tim
Yeah, this MAP adapter came into my mind, but it’s got a lot of overhang, so an 88g C02 capsule would look somewhat incongruous.Hi Tim,
To clarify, you are not talking about a QB79 that uses a co2 bottle or a 2240 modified with a tank block to take a Co2 bottle? As far as I know, the tank block was required.

The only thing I can come up with is from Alliance Hobby that used the existing threads of a QB78, but it was not for 88g carts......
