Is Cape Fear Airguns Still Open?

Hi. i've been trying to get a hold of Newman at Cape Fear Ariguns and the Website is down, email is down and there is no returned calls left with voice mail. I sent in an Impact for repair and had been in direct contact with Newman. It was delivered but haven't heard a word since. I hope that everything is OK with Newman. Great guy.

I made it to Cape Fear Airguns about 10:30 this morning. Met Newman. Very nice guy! We talked about an hour (and his phone was constantly going off). He is very knowledgeable, and it is no wonder that everybody wants to talk to him or have him work on their airguns.

It is a very clean, small shop buried in a neighborhood of Wilmington, NC. Not difficult to get to, I only had to turn around once as I missed seeing the shop the first pass. Frankly, we talked about everything PCP. I got great advice on SCBA tethering. I gather that he is a benchrest guy but also a former Tech for FX, so he obviously knows his stuff. He's working locally to develop Airgun shooting in the area and has a potential 'competition' venue scouted out. It will be about 2hrs from me, but I'll be happy to drive it if it works out.

He has a pile of PCP rifles on consignment, all of which I've only seen online. I was amused to see the FX Impact M3...now I know where the Karma EQ gets its design (speculation on my part, of course). I picked up some Javelin 32g and 36g slugs and a tin of FX 34g pellets.
