Is a SPA P12 Bullpup a good low cost rifle?

They are light weight, very powerful guns, very easy to work on too.

Just as above, most people sell them because they are single shot.

You can easily play around with hammer springs, I just went into Ace Hardware and picked up several and the results of with it'll make 50fpe pushing 25.39g jsb monsters, it is a powerful pup.

Shot count is good too, though I admit I like it for its power and haven't spent too much time of efficiency, If I want to plink I have another gun for that, but it's not terrible non regulated.

Depinged by using bottle brush, and hair curlers wrapped with felt diy shroud insert to quiet it down to backyard friendly.

All in all, nice guns imo.

The SPA / Artemis P12s are killer little pups,
I almost grabbed one too, but, I knew that being a single-shot, it would eventually drive me nuts.
I have the P15 [pretty much the same thing but a multi-shot repeater] and it's one of The Most Fun guns I've ever had/fired..
That says a LOT. So I say, if the P12 / single shot rifle sounds good for you - Then go for it! They really are a blast!

"You might want to swing for p15 regulated and multi Shot."

I just saw that the P15 was mentioned - a few times now, and I also agree with that.
The P15s just rock! They have quite the 'cult-following', so lots of support..

Krale: $455.66 + S/H [And maybe the $20ish extra UPS fee]

PS: Diana just had to go and throw their name on the P15s,
and now, not only has the price jumped up BIG for 'their version' [The SkyHawk]
Now Krale and other SPA / Artemis dealers are out of stock, and no clue when they'll get more..

SPA [Snow Peak Airguns] also has the "P10", but it's a bit higher in price also.

I swear I just don't understand how single shot or magazine makes much difference in a gun you have to cock each time anyway. i could see the big difference if we're talking semi auto with auto indexed magazines, but so many people act as though they have to muzzle load a flintlock or something, when really it's just not that big a deal...

For me I thought it was a big deal,I have big fingers and it is hard to pick pellets up and load into chamber.

Now I have found out that a single load tray is not hard to load plus if shooting off a "bag" no biggy.

And because of my big short fat fingers I will always pick .22 over.177.....

I shoot left handed and I am Not a Contortionist so with many rifles I need to adjust my "stand" anyhow...

Still nice to have the option.
