INVICTA JULY 2023 MATCH
I don’t know if it was the excessive heat, the threat of serious rain, or the daunting prospect of a work party directly after the match (LOL) but we had just five shooters make it out, and to make sure we got done before any rain, and to beat the heat, we shot by ourselves, unfortunately for Bill, he forgot this knee riser, so had to make it up the hill again for it, so he was officially the last to finish.
Danny got the top score this month, with Brad nipping at his heals.
After the match, everyone went over to the other side of the property and started to clear out lanes, and drop off base blocks the other side of the pond. Brad not only has designed the original course, AND the new course, but he donated a bunch of new blocks to the club, and of course his time, as usual he showed up early to tidy up lanes before the match started with his weedwacker, and of course set out some practice targets too, he is a major asset to the club, and well deserves some cudos!
Still got some work to do with the second course, but once that is done we will once again have two matches a month in Tennessee!
