Hello everyone! I've been reading a bit on the forum, mostly regarding the Notos as that is what I was researching and finally settled on purchasing about a month ago.
I've got an old 1980s Daisy 880 from my youth that had been my primary tree rat and garden pest annihilator until I started having problems with it holding air. I replaced a few seals in it and it does better, but I wanted to try something different. At first I did not want to get into the PCP world because of the added cost of the airgun itself and requiring a pump, but in the end decided that this would likely last me many years and provide some entertainment as well.
I am seriously impressed with the power of the Notos as compared to my old 880. I'm looking at the tuning guides and will be purchasing some aftermarket magazines and looking at ways to make it a little quieter. It is only slightly louder than my 880.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and looking forward to learning about my new airgun.
Thanks!
Rob
