introduction

i want to inroduce myself. I will go by the handle Papi a name given to me by my two grandsons. I am a year away from retirement and recently widowed. I decided to start target shooting as a hobby but with the price of centerfire handgun and rifle ammo I started reading about pellet rifles. long story short I purchased a tx200 mk3 and a hawke 6-12x50 scope, I also purchased a Diana 460 magnum and a hawke 4-12x50 scope. I set up a shooting bench and a pellet trap at 20,30,40,and 50 yds. and have 10,000 pellets thru the tx and around 6,000 thru the diana. They are both 22 cal. I appreciate all the knowledge and experience shared on this forum and figured I would join in. My short term goals are to print 3/8" dia groups (5 shots) at 20 yds and nail 1" dia spinners at 40 yds, 2" dia at 50 yds I am pretty much there and enjoying the hobby.

Welcome !!

Enjoy your springers. Soon you will discover the PCP's.

Once you get there and before you buy any PCP, read A LOT expertise about your alternatives in the forum.

The difference among springers and PCP'S is HUGE in sensation at shooting and in accuracy and power for hunting.

In this forum there are really experts in a helping attitude. You will never feel unattended when requesting help.

Welcome again !!

thanks for the replies guys, I purchased the two springers in 22 figuring if I buy two rifles that only require ammo and they are high quality then each grandson will inherit one. As far as PCP goes I have been eyeing and reading about them and will probably jump to that side of shooting in the future. They say if you can drive tacks with a spring piston then your skills are good to go.
