Introducing the Bottle Bandit

Here's my work in progress .25 Bottle Bandit. It's wearing a 9ci hpa tank and running an 1800 psi regulator attached to a Froggy's airguns drop block.


Initial testing puts it just over 19 fpe with my 27 grain cast hunters and around 18.5 fpe with my 22 grain cast wadcutters. Accuracy at 25 yards is looking good. More to come...

Here are the numbers with Vortex 24.7s because they're the cheapest .25s I own. ;D




I started at 3000 psi and ended at 1500 for total of 54 shots. If I throw out the last 8, I get 46 shots at an average of 565 fps with an ES of 19 and SD of 3.38.

The chaser or stormrider barrel fit these?

Wes at Airgun Archery Fun converted this one to .25, but otherwise yes they do fit.

I have a 25cal pp800 I got from him. I believe he sells 19" barrels that fit. I have a 9 and 15". Does 48 and 65fpe respectively but only gets 2 shots per fill maybe could use a bottle as well, but I don't want the extra weight or mass. Idk about yours, but both barrels I have are outstandingly accurate.

He does have the longer barrels, but I really only want enough length to even up the suppressor with the tank. I might have to order one and cut it down. I've got to say that it balances really well even with the tank. It just feels solid.

I bought it hoping it would shoot my cast wadcutters, and it does that well. It's a little thumper up close and does great defending the feeders.

You can't push those wadcutters too fast, that's for sure, so that is a perfect gun for that

You nailed it. I had to cut 5 coils off the hammer spring and tune it down to shoot the wadcutters accurately. These little pistols are hand cannons.

I've peeped down in there I'd say it's a slippery slope but the slope was straight down

There are plenty of tunnels that you can jump to on the way down. You don't have to go all the way to the bottom right away.
