Thanks for the compliment @L.Leon I always appreciate feedback. And yes, those drop in barrels sound like a winner to me for the average Joe or the master tuner.
@TheBestAirgun has also been doing some cool stuff with arrows recently as well! Pretty cool stuff

Here's one of Troy's new 3 groove barrels in an Avenger.
1st group after installing the barrel. 51 yards 17.5gn NSA @950fps.
Measures .395" outside to outside minus .2165 slug diameter = .1785" center to center.
Using superior AE Swede 18 shot magazines CNC machined in the USA from Delrin $29.99

I'm surprised Troy didn't talk more about the Kral rifles he sells. I just got a Bighorn in .25 from him and with his "mini" tune, it shoots lights out at 50 yds.

I had talked to Troy prior to RMAC about this (the 3 groove .22 caliber barrel) and was very interested, since the barrel in my Red Wolf was very good, but just not up to my standards, and also was/is very picky with which RD Monsters it liked and didn't like. I sent him the barrel a few weeks ago so that he could use it to get a good pattern for Red Wolf drop in barrels, and also when he returns it to include a new 3 grove for testing. I'm in no hurry, since I got the new .25 Red Wolf that I shot at EBR and did fairly well. I do hope the 3 groove shoots well!!!

I too just ordered a 25 cal from Troy. I'm looking forward to shooting the jsb 33.95 at 900 fps. And I would like to try some h&n slugs in .249 and .250 to see how the choked barrel handles them.... I'm not expecting much in the form of accuracy from the slugs thru a choked barrel, but we'll see

I can tell you that mine doesn't seem to like FX Hybrids. Which sort of surprised me because my Cayden does. Let us know how the H&N's work out.
