Did they give me the wrong caliber or is it just designed differently left is the stock donnyfl mod, right is a donnyfl koi. Both are .22 but the left id is 2mm bigger

They generally use/recommend the next caliber moderator on them like for .22 they recommend .25 and so on. Protects against clipping.

Mine is for the 25 but it's states in the box 25/30 Cal I'm going with what Donny said it's probably set up for the 22/25 from fx my inside measurement is 30.84mm

I had some accuracy problems with my FX Crown , .22 cal fitted with a Donnyfl KOI moderator for this caliber. POI was shifting left and right , abour 1 inch at 50 yards. I didn't see any signs of clipping when I dissassembled the moderator. I then put a Sumo .25 cal and that was the solution. I think sometimes , if the moderator is slightly off center and the pellet is very close to the baffle holes, it could have some effect on accuracy. Moreover the Sumo .25 makes the gun a bit quieter.
