Intermediate Eye Relief recommendations?

I’m looking for an intermediate eye relief scope (with mil dots) recommendation for a PP700 hunting pistol that I use for pigeons and starlings indoors at dairy farms. I may put one on an izh 46m as well.

A 2-7X aim sports Intermediate Eye Relief works great so far but haven’t found one with useable mil dots.

I’m trying their rangefinding version but would prefer a quality mildot.

thanks

Brad

Isn't there a mildot version of the Aims? Or do you mean you just can't find one in stock?

In another thread somebody mentioned the Leupold 1.5-4 Scout scope is on sale. That's going to be a more expensive scope than the Aims and you might have to wait for the Leupold Custom Shop to re-open before getting a mil-dot reticle put in. Also, off the top of my head it isn't in the same eye-relief class as the Aims. Maybe two to three inches less, I don't recall.

Otherwise, there are several Scout, long eye relief (LER) and intermediate eye relief (IER) scopes out there. Unfortunately there is a huge range of eye relief amongst those three terms and you really need to search all three individually. Actually you need to search all five terms individually if you include the acronyms.

I believe Burris makes a mildot scout scope.
