Interesting results shooting into a 5 gallon bucket of water with hollow point slugs made on my new Thor Slug Press. Two shots through the lid and two shots straight into water completely different results 62 grain at 950 ft per second

Out of curiousity, was the bucket completely full, or did they pass through the lid, then an air gap, then into the water? Interesting all the same though

It had maybe half inch air gap. That would actually be interesting to see if it made a difference with absolutely no air gap...just the lid sitting directly on the water. I also left the lid loose because I didn't want to much pressure and it splitting the side out.
