Integrated valve seat

Are people boring them out?

Machining them away to make replaceable valve seats?

The replaceable ones were limited in size by the o-ring groove. Cutting it directly into the housing made it much stronger but you can't go much larger than 6.5mm because a larger valve poppet inside this housing restricts airflow. The valve housing would need to be larger in internal diameter to allow more air to pass. Increased valve size also takes increased force to open it which can result in more vibration being induced.
