I am thinking of ordering a new barrel for my .22 caliber HW50S in .177 caliber. According to AOA you need a special tool to install a new breech seal. How difficult is it to install breech seals?
Thanks

I was not sure if they did come with the barrel. I did think it looked pretty darn easy to install one, but just checking.Should come in the barrel. If not a dental pick works perfectly.
I don't think installing the seal is the concern. I think they're worried about people gouging the breech with a screwdriver attempting to remove the old one.I was not sure if they did come with the barrel. I did think it looked pretty darn easy to install one, but just checking.
Thanks everyone

Good to hear, did it also have the barrel catch installed as well?I ordered a new barrel for one of my HW95s and it came with the breech seal installed.
I was going to say contact aoa . The guy told me most parts are not listed on the site but if you request somthing and they got it they wull sell it to you as normalMine came with the barrel catch installed. The barrel came ready for instalation. I ordered the barrel from Air Guns Of Arizona.
I also ordered a cocking arm with it and had them attach it to the barrel. This made installation a lot easier. I converted my .177 to a .22.
