Air Arms Installed Vortek PG4 Delrin kit in TX

I had previously installed a TbT delrin guide kit in my TX200 .177, with stock spring and Vortek piston seal. It shot at 13 fpe but I felt the shot cycle could be better, it was still hold sensitive also. The Vortek seal will remove 40 fps off the bat.

I got the PG4 delrin full power kit, I had to push down on the rifle, while my wife put the bolt in the trigger block. With the stock spring, I can do this myself.

I put 50 pellets through it(JSB 10.3) and it averaged 728 fps, 12 fpe. I hope it doesn’t drop anymore? I have read the full power is closer to 12 fpe and the low power closer to 10 fpe? I have not accuracy tested yet.

The seal dropped fps .. maybe needs to be fit better . Vortex claims drop in fitting not needed but i yet to really see that even in the arh drop in stuff . I usually get 2-3 seals just to play woth or a oops moment fitting one a tad small then i wanted ..

Got to figure his or any seal made cant be 100% sized for every gun tube cause even them can run in any + or - tolerance spec. Arh has normal and " problem solver" seal like for the TX . Too tight bogs down fps too loose can cause slamming got to hit that happy medium in between... 🥴. ( Opinion)

I have read most find it drops about 40 fps, it seals great, tested plugging the transfer port. It pushed easy and smooth into the comp tube but it is probably slightly tight, has over 500 pellets on the seal and no change.

Motörhead gave me a used 12fpe VORTEK kit for the TX200. I put it in TX200 #3 (walnut), (the one my friend in Kansas gave to me when he was not able to replace the cocking shoe). I plan on shooting short range low powered air rifle/air pistol silly wet at the Diablo range.
It is very consistent:

Very nice

I installed a 12fpe Vortek kit and piston seal at the start of this year. I had to remove almost 2 coils to get it to 12fpe. It was very consistent with jsb 8.44 and 10.3. I shoot the 8.4 primarily. I got about 10k shots on the spring before it started to lose speed. I installed a new .113 Vortek spring and trimmed to get 12fpe again. I really like this kit in the TX! The shot cycle is fast but not violent. No spring noise and no piston bounce.

I have the PG4 kit in both my RSW Diana 48 and HW97k. The std kits, not full power kits; but installed both enclosed washers in both rifles. Super easy to cock, smooth and easy shooting. Powerfull! Highly recommend! My great grandchildren will enjoy shooting these springers!
Mine did not come with spacers, even though the directions mentioned them.

I did chrono the FTT 8.64 and it shot at 810 fps, not bad 12.6 fpe.
