Tuning Installed slug kit and transfer port in Impact

Installed the huma transfer port and the FX slug kit in my .25 Impact. Also the Superior Heavy Liner. Way more power and ability to shoot heavier slugs. Settled on the Nielson 38.5 gr slugs at 975 FPS and 1” groups at 100 yards. My reg is set at 140 bar.

My question is, the power wheel does not seem to do anything now. Went from max down to 3 with no significant changes in velocity. Have others found the same. Just fun playing with these things.

Back out the hammer adjustment screw until you see a velocity decrease from Max. I experienced the same thing after installing the slug power kit. The additional hammer weights/spacers makes it easier to open the valve. Back off the hammer spring adjustment screw, and if that doesn't work, replace the valve return spring with the original stiffer valve return spring.
