Installed Plenum on FX Wildcat MK2 Compact

I got my hands on a FX plenum for a FX Dream Tac Compact and was able to modify and install on my New FX Wildcat Compact, boosted velocity with the 25.4 JSB's from 885 to 915 FPS, I was able to reduce reg pressure from 155 bar to 140 bar and adjust hammer tension to get velocity to 895-900 and increase shot count as well. Only problem is you will have to swap out the larger OD factory FX moderator to a FX stackable 1" moderator to clear the fill port cap/gauge.
Update ! I set up target at 50 yards this morning because wind finally calmed down, from a 220 BAR fill I shot four full 8 round magazines with no POI change whatsoever, I truly believe I could have squeezed another four or five shots. Outside temp was 35°

Thanks for the info, I was wondering whether this would work on the 25 cal Streamline. I anticipated there being an issue with my hugget mod with the cylinder being pushed forward so it is probably a no.

This makes me wonder would a 300cc cylinder work with the 1" mod

You can try a weihrauch moderator. I replaced the smaller tube on my wildcat, for a 300 cc mk2 tube, on a .177 with a 500mm barrel.

There is not much clearance, about 0.2 mm

 on mine. I will not guarantee it will work on all guns, but it might be worth a try. The gun will be very quiet with it.

Sorry the Dreamline plenum is to short for the streamline. Planing to make them for the WC and streamline soon.

The Hugget Snipe that’s on my Wildcat 25 cal with the 600mm barrel clears that air tube. This gun is the early model of the MK2, when it came with the same regulator as the MK1’s.

I do own the Donny fl extension but in wanting to keep my barrel as short as possible, I installed the Hugget directly on the shorter barrel shroud. So that means my Hugget and barrel shroud connecting point as it sits now is about 1 1/4” behind the end of the overall length of the air tube. If I install this plenum extension then to keep things aesthetically pleasing to the eye, I will then install the DonnyFL extension. Maybe.

I think with all the different lengths offered up on the wildcats there probably should be at least 3 different lengths made. One for the compacts, another for the 600mm barrels, then finally one for the 700mm.

My input only, but us owners of the Wildcat 30 cal MK2 with the 700mm barrel can do with a lot longer of a plenum extension. Like @ least 2 5/8”, based on my measurements off of my own 30 cal. If it clears the 3 piece tube moderator by FX it could go up to 4” and still not look too bad. I’m almost positive it’ll clear. Worse case I could just get another Huggett for this gun.

What am I missing here? How did you guys all get the dreamline plenum so soon? Where shall I throw my money?
