Hello --
Got a 90 ci carbon travel bottle today. What a freakin' disappointment, as I had a family shoot for this Christmas weekend.
Went to air the tank up and find a leak at the neck, Needle would not even leave 0. That fast of a leak. Spun the valve off to check the o-ring, and O-M-G, what a freakin mess.
Used a bulb blower to clean a bit and all I did was create a cloud of miniscule metal particles. Next up, Q-tips. And, the reason I found for the leak was puddles and blobs of epoxy coating on the o-ring ledge, No way that o-ring was gonna find a clean surface to seal against.
Tank is Ninja-branded Gayston 90 ci with a Cochran tester stamp from August 2020. USA MADE.
There may be sintered filters on the fill ports of PCP guns, but if not, charging this crap into my guns would have wrecked em.
All the best, Mark
