initial pcp air gun pick???? So many so little time!!!!

Just wanted say welcome. I've shot air rifles and firearms since I was a kid, but the pcp world is still relatively new to me. You are on the right track by getting onto the forums. There is a wealth of information here. You can often do a search and find what you need. And there are no dumb questions--I've already asked them.

Check out the classifieds, ya never know. I’d snag a used Daystate Regal, Kalibrgun Cricket or Taipan Veteran if it came up. Make sure you factor air into your equation $$$ Air is your primary concern.

I kinda got into this same as you only I'm not retired. Probably never will, lol. I bought and sold airguns from the time I was able to shoot one. Buying one with Xmas money, then eventually selling and buying a different one. I had many many airguns working my way all the up to a RWS54. Beautiful gun. Then powder got the best of me and got my FFL and have done that for years. I'm now kinda tip toeing my way back in. I bought an Origin 22. Love it. I have to pull the trigger on something everyday. This makes it guilt free. Good luck on your search, I think a Kratos will be my next. Then on to an FX if they ever become a little more available.

Is it no longer offered in wood? I love the wooden stock on them. They take up a lot of the gun, which is good. They also look better as they age, but cared for.
