Information and revisions for a very exciting 2022 TEXtreme Field Target season

WIth TEXtreme Field Target growing and evolving, a few things bear mention.

1) Robert Buchanan is really stepping up Airguns Of Arizona's support for the 2022 TEXtreme Field Target season by donating Airguns Of Arizona Gift certificates that will be used as the top placement awards distributed among our four scheduled (quarterly) TFT matches next season. Every 2022 TFT match will have richer awards than our recent 2021 TFT Season Closer match. There are also indications of other sponsors interested in supporting TFT.

2) Given our support of, and participation in, the 2022 Extreme Field Target Grand Prix series, in our first three 2022 TFT matches we will be inflicting shorter time elements on shooters to complete all their shots at each lane, in order to acclimate and prepare you for how it's done in the Extreme Field Target event at Extreme Bench-Rest. However, we might return to less-hurried/more-deliberate time elements for our TEXtreme FT State Championships in December.

The equation used in the EFT match at EBR that we will adopt for our next three matches is 1 minute + # of shots X 30 seconds. At EBR that means 1 minute + 8 shots X 30 seconds = 5 minutes to complete 8 shots. For us it means 1 minute + 6 shots X 30 seconds = 4 minutes to complete 6 shots. In other words, one less minute per lane than we did in our December 2021 Season Closer match. From what I experienced and heard, the 5 minute time element did not rush anyone; at least not much. But 4 minutes will be enough more challenging that you'd better have your ducks in a row pretty well before your butt hits the seat and you start the timer

I'm really excited about what appears to be an extremely fun and exciting 2022 TEXtreme Field Target season.

GET SOME, Y'all!
