Information about Kalibrgun Capybara and its differences from Colibri

I owned a Colibri, and it was one of the finest mini-pcp carbines I ever owned.

Originally the Colibri was to be semi-automatic, but the existing technology was not perfected back then, so it was released as a multi-shot, manually cycled pcp. Unfortunately, one of the components in the mechanism didn't always return to it's original position after each shot, so the gun would not load properly. Ernest Rowe fixed that with a simple spring installation and it cycled perfectly. Then, and I don't know how or why, I heard one of the developers left that company and started Vulcan airguns. They too were one of the finest pcp's on the market, and still are!

I'm assuming the Capybara will take up where the original Colibri left off, and add auto-loading to it's features. Further, it was the ONLY pcp, in .22 caliber I ever owned that was near dead silent in it's OEM design!

The Capybara might need a bit of further investigation...it was a neat little gun!
