Infinity scope setting??

Well, Anthony; if you're strictly Kentucky windage, you're fine. However, I would strongly recommend that you avail yourself of the tools offered by technology (i.e., ballistics software, chronograph, tilt-technology rangefinder / mil-dot hold-offs, parallax / MOA turret-click). Learning these skills really adds value to your AG experience. It certainly will increase the amount of meat in your freezer! Now that you have a real shooter in your WC, it would be in your best interests to optimize your skill set.

What is the magnification set to, if too low you may not see the effect, try to crank it up and see through it. Obviously not looking at the clouds but somethink like 15yards or shorter range

if you shoot only 100yards, and low mag it does not matter much for you I guess

adjust the magnification over 10x and you will see how dramatically this reduces the depth of field

its a pretty simple thing really, look through your scope and turn the AO until your target is in focus and clear.

(yes,for each distance)

leaving it on infinity will only be good for very long shots, and anything closer will be blurry and out of focus,

and will induce parallax errors which could result in a miss if your head isnt in exactly the same position behind the scope (pretty much impossible) every time.
