Great start to the new BR format, the hard work by you obviously paid off in the smooth running of the Match. Will there be another in Nov. or is next spring the soonest you'll have one?

Looking forwards to next year! Probably be out Gunned but still want to have the Fun!
Guess I should order targets to practise unless there's a close printable version.
Right on man, the fun part is the best part.I'm not bad at reading wind. At lest at my home shooting range. And I do get some weird cross winds at times!
And I do jokeingly say I'll be out gunned. To me it's more about meeting each other and just having fun!
The last 8 years or so? I've shot with people all over the USA as I traveled. Meeting the loonies was the best part!
Why you and I never hooked up I can't explain. Since I did spend MONTHS in your area doing demolition work.
Actually did jobs in Dayton. Like 3 or 4 big demolition jobs there. You worked the Hobart demo job then?
Took forever because of the Historical society and all that?
Will be following this closely Tim. Very anxious to see how the high end air rifles do vs. either sportsman or Pro Class rim fires. In my own experience, either one of my Annie’s will always outshoot my RAW, Safari or FX Boss at 100 yards. Not even close, for me anyway.Hi @Bramezey and thanks for your interest. We are in talks now with match directors at the other airgun clubs in Ohio. We plan to host 7 N50 matches next year, monthly April through October, 2023. We want to schedule our matches on dates that don't interfere with other club matches. The match director at Fairfield (Cincinnati) has been responsible for the match scheduling in previous years and we asked him to include Meeker's N50 matches into the calendar mix. We hope to have the details worked out soon and will post the events on our club's on-line calendar.

We also had some feedback after our first match that airgunners and rimfire folks would also be interested in an additional 100Y match as well. Fairfield is the only club currently offering 100Y matches so we have agreed to incorporate a 100Y 2 card match following our N50 event in our first few matches and then gage interest to see if that is what the masses are interested in and that feedback will help us decide on future 100Y matches here at Meeker Sportsman Club (Marion, OH).
Tim, these targets look pretty good. I read the product details, but did not see the ring diameters. Do you know where to find that information? They are using the large EBR type targets down at Fairfield for their 100Y air matches but those targets are $1.50 each and quite expensive to ship. So, we are going to use these targets, based on Mike N’s suggestion. Much more cost effective. We can shoot 5 shots per bull and have a 25 bull match.

These heavy paper targets are great for practice or competition.www.midwayusa.com
These targets are available in both black or red printing. Our club had some black ones so I test fired one at 100y. Mike suggested red because he said you can’t see the holes in the black @100Y and as usual his advice was spot on.
Definitely agree. They use .350” scoring plugs for both EBR and RMAC 100 yard BR scoring for pellets. I would defer to Mike N on the .224” plug for Pro Class RF or slug scoring. Your logic for using .224” plugs for RF or Slugs makes sense to me. But, since it is 100 yards and not 50 yards, maybe a larger scoring plug than .224” might make sense. I.e., something between .224 and maybe .30 plug possibly?
Hi Tom,
I think I have both targets in my shop and if I do I will snap some pics and dimensions and post later today.
I think we will score using "best edge scoring" and closely follow N50 rules. I've been giving this question somne thought and it may be more fair to score pellets using .350" plugs and slug / rimfire using .224" plugs since the heavier and higher BC of slug and rimfire projectiles will likely have an advantage at 100Y over pellets. However, I am leaving this open for discussion. What are your thoughts?
Good point. I hadn’t considered .25 & .30’s.Tim…it also comes down to calibers used.
You will have to use the .350” plug if guys are planning to shoot 25 or 30.
Mike
Mike - understand using .350” plug for .25 and .30 caliber air rifles.Good point. I hadn’t considered .25 & .30’s.
